The 9th Forklift Indonesia 2025 taking place from May 21 – 23, 2025 at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia, will be expanded bigger scale. The expo will be held together with Transport & Logistic Indonesia 2025, Con-Mine 2025 and IIBT 2025 as an ASEAN leading trade show for transport, logistics, warehousing, material handling, and supply chain industries.
Indonesia with over 279 million of people is in the largest economy in South East Asia. Indonesia’s manufacturing industry contributed of Indonesia Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 5,1% in the 1st Quarter compared with a year earlier. Another indicator is the purchasing manager’s index (PMI) of Indonesian manufacturing. In April 2024 it was recorded at 52.9. The results of Fiscal policy Agency Ministry of Finance show that the expansion rate of Indonesia’s manufacturing sector in this period was able to exceed ASEAN Manufacturing PMI (51.0).
Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) until the second quarter of 2023, Supply Chain Indonesia (SCI) Projected the contribution from transportation and warehouse sector will grow 14,16% with US 88,6 billion in 2024.
The demand for forklifts in Indonesia is influenced by the expanding logistics and warehousing sectors. The growth in e-commerce and manufacturing industries, which require efficient material handling, is a significant driver of forklift market growth.
